The detection of CA 125 protein in buffer solution with a silicon-on-insulator (SOI)-based nanoribbon (NR) biosensor was experimentally demonstrated. In the biosensor, sensor chips, bearing an array 12 nanoribbons (NRs) n-type conductance, were employed. course analysis NR target biospecifically captured onto surface NRs, which sensitized covalently immobilized aptamers against 125. Atomic force microscopy (AFM) and mass spectrometry (MS) employed order to confirm formation probe–target complexes on surface. Via AFM MS, aptamer–antigen SOI substrates revealed, thus confirming efficient immobilization signal, resulting from biospecific interaction between NR-immobilized aptamer probes, shown increase concentration. minimum detectable concentration as low 1.5 × 10−17 M.
